The General Assembly of Confindustria Romania has elected Andrea Allocco President of the Association for the 2026–2029 term.
Confindustria Est Europa extends its warmest good wishes to the new President, at a significant moment for the Association and for the entire Confindustria network in Central and Eastern Europe. The Assembly was also attended by the President of Confindustria Est Europa, Patrizio Dei Tos, confirming a shared path and a common vision for the development of the Italian system abroad.
An engineer and General Manager of Technology Reply in Romania, Andrea Allocco brings to the leadership of the Association a modern, European and deeply industrial view of the associative role. He takes over from Giulio Bertola, founder of Confindustria Romania and outgoing President, whose six-year term contributed decisively to the Association's strengthening and international recognition.
The new term opens with clear objectives: to strengthen the associative role as an operational platform for the Italian system, to support innovation and industrial competitiveness, to develop human capital, young people, women's entrepreneurship and start-ups, to promote dialogue with the diaspora and to develop the strategic sectors of the economy.
A new chapter that strengthens the role of Confindustria Romania within the Confindustria Est Europa network and helps to build, together, an ever more solid and integrated Italian presence in Romania and in Europe.
