On 10 May the conference “Energy and the Balkans: transition to renewables and improving energy connections” will be held in Belgrade, at the Mona Plaza hotel, organised by Confindustria Serbia in collaboration with Confindustria Est Europa and with the support of Confindustria, with the aim of presenting to companies the investment and business opportunities that the energy sector offers in the Balkan region and, more precisely, in Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Greece.
The present historical moment sees the energy world undergoing an upheaval, with a direct impact on companies and consumers while at the same time presenting new opportunities. In this sense the decisions of the various countries, both from a strategic and political standpoint and in terms of the transition to a green economy, will play a fundamental role in shaping the future of the whole Region.
In this context, the conference aims to present to all interested parties the opportunities that may arise, with the participation of representatives of the Region's governments, of the European Union institutions responsible for energy, of companies already operating in the Balkan region and of financial institutions, which are essential to a sustainable and efficient green transition.
