Yesterday, 4 April 2022, the President of Confindustria Est Europa, Maria Luisa Meroni, met Mr Grzegorz Piechowiak, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome.
The aim of the meeting — also attended by H.E. Ms Anna Maria Anders, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Italy, and by the leadership of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) — was, among other things, to examine incentives for foreign investors in Poland and the sectors offering the greatest prospects for cooperation.
President Meroni presented the role of Confindustria Est Europa and the structured and essential presence of the Confindustria Polonia association for Italian entrepreneurs approaching the Polish market.
At the end of the meeting, President Meroni attended the event organised at the ICE offices in Rome, “POLAND COUNTRY PRESENTATION”, during which three focus sectors were presented — green technologies, the pharmaceutical industry and infrastructure — and which was attended by high-level representatives of various Polish government bodies.
