On 27 April President Maria Luisa Meroni took part in the Green Innovative Technologies Conference at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome, bringing her institutional greetings.
The event, opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Italy, Ms Anna Maria Anders, also heard from the State Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment, Ms Małgorzata Golińska; the Diplomatic Adviser to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Aldo Amati; and the President of the Polish Investment & Trade Agency, Paweł Kurtasz.
There followed focus sessions on the green transition, with particular reference to the prospects for Central and Southern Europe, as well as on the infrastructure of the future and the related opportunities for Italian companies — a panel in which the Director General of Confindustria Polonia, Alessandro Saglio, also spoke.
The event closed with the presentation of the GreenEvo programme, which aims to support the internationalisation of Polish companies offering pioneering and advanced technologies for the benefit of the environment.
The event, during which emerging green tech technologies were presented, proved an important occasion for discussion aimed at strengthening bilateral Italian-Polish cooperation, including through the sharing of technological excellence.
