Yesterday, 21 February, at the prestigious Palazzo Giacomelli in Treviso, the President of Confindustria Est Europa, Maria Luisa Meroni, took part in the presentation of the “Romania Desk”, organised through the collaboration of Confindustria Veneto Est and Confindustria Romania.
At the event — during which the agreement launching the Romania Desk was signed, and this understanding, based on both information and advisory activities aimed at fostering relations between member companies, was presented — speakers alongside President Meroni included: Alessandra Polin, Delegate for internationalisation at Confindustria Veneto Est; Lotreanu Cosmin, Consul General of Romania in Trieste; Giulio Bertola, President of Confindustria Romania; Mirco Maschio, President of Maschio Gaspardo Group; and Iacopo Meghini, Chief Executive of Metalmont.
Besides the services provided by the “Romania Desk”, the initiative set out the country's growth prospects, its strategic sectors and the new opportunities it offers, as well as a number of success stories of companies that have internationalised there.
