On 13 June the President of Confindustria Est Europa, Maria Luisa Meroni, spoke at the conference “Artificial Intelligence: the new era of Industry”, held on the occasion of the General Assembly of Confindustria Bulgaria, which took place in Sofia at the UniCredit Bulbank International Center.
Opening proceedings at the initiative, organised by Confindustria Bulgaria and the Association's Young Entrepreneurs Group, alongside President Meroni, were the President of Confindustria Bulgaria, Roberto Santorelli; the Ambassador of Italy to Bulgaria, H.E. Giuseppina Zarra; the Bulgarian Minister of Innovation and Growth, Milena Stoycheva; and the President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Bulgaria, Andrea Conto'.
Experts and member companies took part as speakers, with the aim of showing the audience how artificial intelligence can develop the business model, improving productivity and corporate efficiency for SMEs too.
The role of the human being in the digital transformation was reaffirmed repeatedly: not excluded but, on the contrary, placed at the centre of the process so as to be able to guide it.
President Meroni also recalled how the future direction of Confindustria Est Europa's communication is increasingly digital.
