The entrepreneur Maria Luisa Meroni, Chief Executive of Meroni F.lli Srl of Dolzago, has been appointed President of Confindustria Est Europa, a post she will hold until 2024.
The appointment was made unanimously by the eleven representative offices belonging to the Federation, thanks not least to the great experience of the Confindustria system that Maria Luisa Meroni has built up over the years.
Among the posts she has held, besides the presidency of Confindustria Bulgaria, is that of Representative of Small Industry on the Presidency Council of Confindustria Lecco e Sondrio.
Through its eleven international Associations present in the area, Confindustria Est Europa is a strategic element for the whole Confindustria System.

As a young woman I had to enter the world of work at once and take on significant responsibilities to allow the company to grow, including through internationalisation. My experience within the association has also been enriching over these years, and I am therefore proud to take on the Presidency of Confindustria Est Europa and I thank my colleagues for the trust they have placed in me.
