The event In East (Europe) We Trust, was held today, 19 May, organised by Confindustria Udine in collaboration with Confindustria Est Europa (CEE) and Confindustria Russia as an occasion for study and for meetings between the International Representative Offices of the Confindustria System (in particular those of Eastern Europe and Russia) and companies from various sectors belonging to the local association.
The day's proceedings, introduced by the Vice-President of Confindustria Udine, Anna Mareschi Danieli, heard from the Regional Councillor for Productive Activities and Tourism of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sergio Emidio Bini, followed by addresses from the President of Confindustria Est Europa, Maria Luisa Meroni, and the Director General of Confindustria Russia, Alfredo Gozzi, with the aim of framing Confindustria's system of International Representative Offices abroad, with particular focus on the strategic opportunities they offer and on their support activities for companies.
There followed the case study of Refrion Refrigeration DOO, represented by its General Manager, Davide Tomasin.
At the end of the plenary, some 130 B2B meetings took place, during which the participating companies had the opportunity to meet and learn more from the Representatives of the Offices present (among them: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Poland, Slovenia, Ukraine).
