The General Assembly of Confindustria Est Europa will be held on Wednesday 3 July in Confindustria's Sala Pininfarina (viale dell'Astronomia 30 – Rome), focusing on growth opportunities for Italian companies in the strategic Eastern European neighbourhood, a natural bridge between the Western and Eastern worlds.
In an uncertain geopolitical scenario, and one in which internationalisation faces complex challenges, the countries of Eastern Europe are recording significant progress in economic development, with growth forecasts of over 3%, and stand at the centre of a strengthened process of European integration. Economic cooperation between Italy and the countries of Eastern Europe can offer significant and unprecedented opportunities, which deserve to be approached with a fresh outlook and along new lines.
Which sectors hold the highest potential for Italian exports in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe? How can the performance of Italian companies in the area be improved? To answer these questions, the Assembly will present the report on “Potential and prospects for Made in Italy in Central and Eastern Europe”, revealing the capabilities of Italian excellence and the strategic sectors in each country, and offering solutions tailored to market needs.
