On 10 June the mission of Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio to Ukraine took place: an occasion of great importance to give new impetus to the Italian presence in Ukraine and to strengthen exchanges and interaction between Italian and Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
Confindustria Ucraina was present with a delegation led by its President Marco Toson.
The Ukraine-Italy Business Forum in Kyiv was also attended by Confindustria's Vice-President with responsibility for internationalisation, Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, who signed on Confindustria's behalf an agreement with the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, thereby aiming to strengthen further the ties between the two business systems.
Also during Minister Di Maio's official visit to Kyiv, Confindustria Ucraina signed a memorandum of cooperation with UkraineInvest, the government agency for investment promotion in Ukraine. The main aim of the agreement is to foster the revival of productive investment in the country, creating new business opportunities.
