The dual role, declared
Ernesto Giannoccaro signs LIMEN's analysis and is also head of communications and marketing at Confindustria Est Europa — a paid position, of which this review is not part. Both are true at the same time, and they are written here because a reader is entitled to know before reading.
What it means in practice
The federation does not read the issues before they are published and does not approve their content. Corrections of fact are always accepted, immediately and from anyone; corrections to the argument or the conclusions, never — an analysis the host can rewrite is of no use to the reader, and that is the only reason it is worth hosting.
Where a case concerns the federation or one of its representations directly, the dual role is declared in the analysis itself, not left to context.
